The National Ploughing Championships
The National Ploughing Championships is Europe’s largest outdoor agricultural trade exhibition. It returned to Screggan, Tullamore, Co Offaly from 19th to 21st September 2017. In 2016 283,000 people attended the event which featured 1,700 exhibitors.
‘High Speed High Street’ has been created to mark open eir’s second year as official communications partner to Europe’s largest outdoor event. It’s aim is to highlight the benefits of high speed broadband to businesses in rural areas, including homebird.ie, who are benefiting directly from open eir’s investment in fibre broadband.
Bobby Kerr
Bobby is co-owner and Chairman of Insomnia Coffee Company, Ireland largest independent coffee chain. Insomnia has over 140 shops, employs over 500 people and sells over 14 million cups of coffee a year. Bobby is also a presenter on Down to Business the popular Newstalk radio business show on Saturday at 10am. He also hosts “Bobby’s Late Breakfast” a life style magazine type show which airs at 9am on Sunday mornings. Bobby was one of the original Dragons on Dragon’s Den for the first 4 years of the series. Although he has left the series to look at other broadcasting opportunities, he continues to be actively involved with the 9 investments he made during the series. Bobby is also a popular business, entrepreneurial and motivational speaker.
