Ann & Barry (Outline)

Simply put, these are two of the most iconic faces from the 1980’s Irish National School Books. Their penchant for jam and cakes (boy they were always hungry!!) and the happy, simple life they led with Mammy and Daddy. They have become part of the collective memory of our first years of school for most Irish people. The CJ Fallon series ran from the beginning to the end of the 1980s, which meant that the whole family went through Primary school with Ann and Barry. These titles have become an integral part of Primary school days in Ireland for generations.
